Omnigel Spray is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long-term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Omnigel Spray contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Omnigel Spray helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Omnigel Spray is only for external use. Use Omnigel Spray for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. You may sometimes experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, you should consult your doctor if you are experiencing these side effects regularly.

Please do not use Omnigel Spray without a doctor’s advice if you have a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Omnigel Spray in more than prescribed doses or for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines to rule out any side effects. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Omnigel Spray unless prescribed. Omnigel Spray is not recommended for children below 14 years as safety and efficacy have not been established.

Treatment of Pain

Omnigel Spray is a combination of four drugs: Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil possesses an anti-inflammatory action that inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Omnigel Spray helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Gel/Cream/Ointment: Omnigel Spray is only for external use. Take a small amount of Omnigel Spray on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact of the Omnigel Spray with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Omnigel Spray if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.Spray: It is only for external use.
